National Water Week is intended to inspire communities and organisations to collaborate, and to encourage wise water use. It is being run by the Australia Water Association, a not-for-profit network.

There are a range of student resources available to support learning in the classroom. A collection of resources can be found here. This contain links to a range of teaching resources for both primary and high school.

The National Water Week Toolkit resources booklet can be found here, and it contains links to more detailed individual lesson resources throughout the booklet. Most of the resources are designed for the Geography Year 7 topic: Water In The World. There are also some resources themed around Climate Change, and also some Careers resources.

As part of National Water Week the AWA is hosting a free webinar on the Value of Water Careers. The webinar is on the 17 October at 1pm. You can register here.

We acknowledge Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people and recognise their continuing connection with, and knowledge about, land, waters and community. We pay our respects to them and their cultures; and to Elders past, present and emerging.

The Harbour School Sydney acknowledges the Cammeraygal people of the Eora Nation, the Traditional Owners of the land and waters where we work and learn. We are committed to fostering partnerships that unite us in our stewardship of the ocean.
