Iron Cove - Stage 6 Geography
This excursion explores the Earth's Natural Systems Year 11 Geography topic. Iron Cove offers a rich environment for studying Earth's natural systems and their interconnections. Students can observe the intricate relationships between atmospheric systems, hydrological processes, geomorphic features, and ecological systems. Iron Cove provides a great location for study of a range of different environments and geographical processes: tidal movements, erosion, sedimentation, shoreline dynamics, mangrove ecosystems, ecological adaptations, wind and water circulations, climatic influences on local ecosystems.
