Our mission is to empower the youth of Sydney with real-world skills and experiences that will shape their future careers while fostering strong connections between the education and business communities.

Connecting Education and Industry: We act as a liaison between schools and businesses in and around Sydney Harbour, identifying opportunities for students to gain hands-on experience in various industries.

Diverse Placement Options: The Harbour School Sydney offers connections to a wide range of placement options, catering to students' interests and career aspirations, including internships, apprenticeships, and short-term work experiences.

Customised Programs: We work closely with both schools and businesses to design tailor-made work experience programs that align with educational curricula and meet the specific needs of employers.

Professional Development: We provide workshops and resources to help students develop essential soft skills and prepare for the workplace, including resume building, interview techniques, and communication skills.

Local Focus: As a Sydney-based organization, we have deep-rooted connections within the Sydney Harbour community, allowing us to tap into unique opportunities that benefit both students and local businesses. We are able to support employment in water-related industries in the Greater Sydney region.

Community Engagement: We actively engage with schools, businesses, and the wider community to promote the importance of work-based learning and its impact on youth development.

The Harbour School Sydney is committed to nurturing the future workforce of Sydney while fostering a sense of community and collaboration between educational institutions and businesses.
